Frequently Asked Questions
Registration
How do I register?
It’s the same for groups or individuals: register online as soon as possible so we know you’re coming. You will need a completed waiver before the rally, which can be done online or printed off and turned in at registration.
When you get to the rally, we will check you in and take any waivers or payments that still need to be completed and you’re done.
Is registration the same as a waiver?
No, registration lets us know you’re coming but the waiver is the release of liability. Everyone who attends must sign a waiver, whether or not they plan on participating in activities. You can find the waiver here.
How do I pay for harvest rally?
You can pay at the online registration through PayPal or online with a credit card. You can also pay in person with cash, check or credit card.
What grades are allowed to come?
Teens going into 7th grade or have graduated this year may attend the rally. Younger children of sponsors would be exceptions.
What if I'm not a teen but want to come?
Sorry, only 7th grade to recent graduates. However, any adult (18 or older) may come as a sponsor with approval from the group’s leader.
If you are a parent bringing your teens without a group, please register and sign a waiver.
Teens
Do I register as an individual or a group?
It depends: if you’re attending with your church let your youth pastor include you in their registration. If you attend Mansfield Baptist Temple, or you’re coming alone, you can register as an individual.
I'm not coming with a group. Can I be part of the tournaments?
Yes. You and your friends do not have to be part of a group to play in the dodgeball, tractor pull, hay mow. The only tournaments you could not be a part of would be the volleyball and flag football, unless there was a group who would let you join.
Groups
I don't know how many teens are coming. When should I register?
Registering any time during early registration helps you get the early bird benefits and helps us as well. We understand that people are added and cancel last minute, so putting an approximate number is fine. At registration the morning of the rally we can correct any changes in your number. If there are major changes in your number or your group cancels, please let us know as soon as possible.
What should I expect when I get to the rally?
We have a team to help you park, then you can follow the signs to registration. You can send only one sponsor to make sure registration is complete and they will be given the bags to hand out to your group. Once that’s done, your group can participate in that games under the big tent until it’s time to start. The rest of the day is filled with awesome preaching and activities.
When should I get to the rally?
We recommend arriving at 8:50 at the latest. The rally starts at 9 and it gives you some time to get checked in and ready for the service.
What group discounts are available?
Free Sponsors
Get a free sponsor for every ten teens you bring to Harvest Rally. There is no limit to the amount of free sponsors you can have (10 teens = 1 free sponsor, 20 teens = 2 free sponsors, etc). This discount is automatically applied on the early registration form; not available for late registration.
New Church Discount
Get a church to come to Harvest Rally for the first time and your church and the new one each get five free teens. To receive the discount, the new church must name you as their inviting church on registration. Both churches can pay the reduced charge or will be reimbursed if they paid already.
How do I register for tournaments?
You must sign up with registration for the volleyball and football tournaments, as well as to be in the dunk tank. All other tournaments can be signed up for at the rally.
Youth Pastors
What is the youth pastor's dunk tank?
Any youth pastor or sponsor can sign up to sit in the dunk tank and anyone can try to hit the target and dunk them. You can check the box to be a part of it at registration. Each time slot is twenty minutes, and please an extra change of clothes. Towels and a changing area are provided.
Can I participate in activities with my teens?
Defintely. Sponsors have opportunities to win trophies at many games. Most tournaments also allow you to play with your teens unless otherwise specified.
Can I bring my children who are younger than 7th grade?
Absolutely. Children of youth pastors/sponsors are welcome to come to the rally. They do not count on your registration and are free. Children can play at activities that are not being used. However, we ask they show deference to teens wanting to play, and they can’t win any trophies of course.
Please note we do not have a nursery or childcare services available so any children who come are the responsisbility of those bringing them. We do have an area available for nursing mothers.
